Based on the Commedia Dell’ Arte characters and set in characteristic and colourful Italian style – with physical comedy, masks and a modern dialogue, we follow the adventures of Truffaldino. He’s the classic wily servant who is trying to fill both his wallet and his stomach and hits on the scam of serving two masters at once. His hectic “downsizing of the service economy” hits trouble when he finds himself embroiled in a tangle involving a dowry, thwarted love and a cross dressing heroine.There is much comic chaos before he he gets his girl – and the banquet - in the end!
