Join Lady Sneerwell, Mrs Candour, Benjamin Backbite and the rakish villain Joseph Surface as the themes of concealment and exposure are explored. It is said that the cheers of the audience could be heard outside the theatre in the famous scene when a falling screen reveals a blushing Lady Teazle to her husband Sir Peter.
